This week has been amazing, and I can’t wait to share everything we’ve done!
We started the week with some creative writing. We looked at a picture of three mushrooms reading a book in the forest and wrote small descriptions about it in English. It was a fun way to use our imaginations!
In maths, we continued learning about fractions. We focused on mixed numbers and improper fractions, practising how to convert between them. Everyone did a great job understanding the new concepts.
But the most exciting part of the week was our trip to Astley Burf! We had the absolute best time there! I’m so proud of everyone for their resilience and teamwork. We went on a forest walk searching for giant redwood trees, and we had a challenge to see who could find the biggest one – it was so much fun!
We also had some relaxing times with movie nights, snacks, and hot chocolates. But it wasn’t all just fun and relaxation. We pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones by trying new activities like archery, rock climbing, and the high ropes. Everyone was so brave and gave everything a go!
What an unforgettable week!
